David Titman

Module Leader and Research Supervisor

Graduating in Food Science at the University of Nottingham, David spent nearly twenty years gaining a broad international experience in both the food industry and education before gaining an MSc in Personalised Nutrition at CNELM. David worked in various commercial and product development roles before specialising in converting consumer and market insights into successful food solutions and business strategies. During this time he worked with many major global food manufacturers and foodservice operators, including Weetabix, Pepsi Co, McDonald’s and McCormick. He continues to work as an independent consultant, developing and implementing innovation and nutrition strategies for progressive businesses. David is a qualified teacher and has taught GCSE Food Technology and Health and Social Care GNVQ.

David is Module Leader for the BSc programme Level 5 Food Science and Safety and Level 6 Contemporary Issues in Food and Nutrition. David is also a Research Supervisor or BSc students and is Tutor for the Level 3 Math’s Entry module. In his role as Module Leader he is a marker and assessor. David is a contributing lecturer.
