About us

Pioneering Personalised Nutrition Education, Research and Practice

We are a global, diverse and inclusive online community with our staff and students working and studying together from around the world.

At CNELM we understand that making the right choice for your education and future career is important.

As a private Higher Education Centre we are committed to teaching courses that have international and professional recognition.

NS3UK Ltd (CNELM) was founded by Kate Neil in 2001 with the aim to provide high quality, accessible, globally relevant and engaging education and training in personalised approaches to nutrition education, research and practice.

We have been successfully teaching UK validated degree courses in nutrition since 2003. From the outset we have combined nutrition education with coaching and clinical practice.

Our programmes are interactive and provide opportunities for attending live webinars, tutorials, journal club and working with peers.

Nutrition education, practice and research is underpinned by bioscience. Many students complete our online Bioscience Entry Course (BEC) modules prior to joining the degree and clinical practice programmes. Our entry modules can be started at any time and are self-directed learning with tutor support.

CNELM students are encouraged and supported by our Research Team and Head of Student Research to publish their academic research and clinical casework. We celebrated our 21st anniversary in 2022 with an online conference to Showcase Staff and Student academic Research and Book Publications in Personalised Nutrition.

Nutritional Therapy Accreditation

The three online routes to nutritional therapy practice that we teach are accredited by the Nutritional Therapy Education Commission (NTEC):

Following successful completion of an NTEC accredited route to nutritional therapy practice, graduates can apply to register with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). CNHC’s register has been approved as an Accredited Voluntary Register by the Professional Standard Authority for Health and Social Care.

Graduates can also apply to become a professional member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT)  as a nutritional therapy practitioner. Registration and membership is the prerogative of the CNHC and BANT and not CNELM.

Dietary Education and Coaching Courses

Our shorter courses enable graduates to seek memberships of other professional associations.

The NLP Practitioner course we teach (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is an internationally recognised qualification. On successful completion of the course you will receive an NLP Practitioner certificate from UKCPD and can apply for professional membership of the ANLP.

The CNELM Dietary Educator Certificate is accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). Graduates of this course can apply to register with the FHT.

We are seeking accreditation for our Nutrition and Health Coach Diploma course with the UK and International Health Coaching Association.
