Michail holds a degree in Biomedical Science (Hons), and he mainly specialized in the areas of Clinical Biochemistry and Medical Microbiology. He has six years’ experience as a Clinical Biochemist, five of them as a Laboratory Manager in Euromedica private hospital in Rhodes Island, Greece. He has worked with a private company providing NHS services, as a health coach and smoking cessation adviser and has run NHS health-check clinics across many areas throughout the UK. Michail has published research in neonatal blood grouping as well as in antibiotic resistance. Michail is a co-Director of Euzen a new company offering educational and coaching and clinical services to the public.
Michail is currently Bioscience Entry Course (BEC) Manager and course Tutor for this programme. Michail is also the Module Leader on the BSc programme for Level 4 Nutritional Biochemistry. In his roles as BEC Manager and Module Leader Michail is a marker and assessor. He is a member of the Senior Academic Team.
