Find a Nutritional Therapist
We recommend that you search the professional body website the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) for a nutritional therapy practitioner.
CNELM does not publish a list of graduates practising as a nutritional therapy practitioner.
Graduates that have completed NTEC accredited courses leading to nutritional therapy practice are able to apply to become a member of the British Associate for Nutritional Therapy and Applied Nutrition (BANT) as a nutritional therapy practitioner.
Graduates may also apply to register as a nutritional therapist with the voluntary regulator the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Acceptance to BANT professional membership and registration with the CNHC is the prerogative of BANT and the CNHC, and not CNELM.
The CNHC regulates within the UK Borders. Registrants not offering services within the UK, may be BANT members only. BANT members practising within the UK must also be registered with the CNHC.
The term Nutritional Therapist is not a protected title. BANT encourage graduate members who have completed an NTEC accredited route to practice to adopt the title ‘Nutritional Therapy Practitioner’.
