Overview
A 12-day Online NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) Practitioner course taught at CNELM is particularly oriented towards health professionals and students training to become a health professional
Anyone working as, or training to become: a therapist of any kind, a coach, a sports coach, healthcare professional or manager, then this course aims to provide you with the extra skills and insight that we think will be highly valuable. The course is also highly relevant for individuals looking to develop additional skills, understand and perspectives for self development purposes.
The course will focus on skills enabling participants to build rapport, manage state, resolve people problems, be more aware of self and others in interesting ways, set goals, gain new perspectives, and will offer a number of change techniques helping people to make useful change in their lives – for example, to manage state, change habits, or change beliefs.
The Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner Certificate we teach is an internationally recognised qualification and is accredited by UKCPD. On successful completion of the course you will receive an NLP Practitioner certificate from the ANLP professional body which entitles you to apply to them for membership.

Entry Requirements
We welcome existing health care professionals and students completing health oriented programmes. Following a short online interview and completion of our short course application form you should then be sent a course offer to start the training at an agreed time.

Evidence of health care qualifications or student status will be required.
If English is a second language applicants will need to provide evidence of IELT’s level 6 or equivalent or evidence of having studied in the English Language at level 3 or higher.
Content & Delivery
The content or the first 5 days will include:
- Learning theory: styles (Kolb), levels and stages of learning; identification of individual and group learning styles.
- Effective communication; communication models, the relationship between state, physiology and behaviour;
organisational skills and personal mental models, personal filters and sorting strategies, eye accessing cues and
predicates, the feedback sandwich. Sensory awareness, non-verbal communication. - Rapport, Well Formed Conditions for outcomes, positive language patterns, simple state management and
kinaesthetic anchoring, introduction to sub-modalities and the coding of experience. - Excellent coaching practice, the development and use of frames, the skills and qualities of a professional,
concepts of professional confidentiality; ethical issues and boundaries; basic coaching/therapeutic skills,
mirroring, paraphrasing; self-evaluation and self/other monitoring, observation and discussion, reflective
journal. - Presuppositions, meta model, outcomes (developed), sub-modalities and perceptual positions.
- Coaching presuppositions and excellent coaching practice, raising awareness, taking responsibility. New
Behaviour Generator, Values Elicitation, and strategies. - Anchoring developed. Various techniques concerning state, state management, association, dissociation and
change; Anchoring for the coach as well as anchoring with Clients. - Representational systems, learning styles and how an awareness of self and Client preference may aid the
quality of the Client interaction/implications for own learning. - Models of Reflection; and Reflection in Practice.
Days 6-7 will focus on
- Excellent coaching practice, the development and use of frames, the skills and qualities of a professional coach
- A range of coaching and change techniques to apply in personalised nutrition practice
Days 7-11 will
- Provide several opportunities to practice the skills and techniques acquired over days 1-7
- Will introduce some new techniques
Day 12
- Is the final day where participants have the opportunity to demonstrate an appropriate level of application of skills and techniques for NLP Practitioner Certification
Course Fees & Dates
The NLP Practitioner Course is a 12 day course inclusive of a 1 day External Verification process to demonstrate application of skills for the NLP Practitioner Certificate.
Each day starts at 10.30am UK time and anticipated finish time for most days is 5.30pm UK time. Regular breaks occur throughout the day.
Fees for the course can be paid in advance or study or as three payments ahead of each block of study of £600, £300 and a final payment of £600.

Support
The Lead Coach Trainer is supported by a team of NLP Practitioners throughout the training. The number of support staff will depend on the number of participants on the course.
Support Trainers and Assistants will work with small groups in Zoom breakout rooms to help ensure each participant has the opportunity to practise new skills and techniques in a ‘safe’ space.
One-to-one support is provided if needed.
Advanced Learner Entry
Applicants with prior coaching qualifications may be offered a course discount but would be required to complete the full course.
