Anna completed her MSc in Applied Economics and Finance at Copenhagen Business School in 2005. After a successful accounting career for a large multinational shipping company in Denmark, Anna had a very personal introduction to nutrition. Suffering from ME/CFS during her first pregnancy she embarked on her own healing journey of which nutrition played a central role. She went on to gain an MSc in Personalised Nutrition from CNELM (with distinction) and was awarded a distinction for her dissertation “The impact of personalised nutrition on mitochondrial function in ME/CFS: A retrospective quantitative study”. Her findings were presented in a poster presentation at the Institute of Functional Medicine’s Annual International Conference 2020. Anna has opened her own nutritional therapy clinic and is working on publishing two academic articles based on the findings of her dissertation. Since 2016 she has been a board member of NTEC and the organisation’s financial officer.
Anna is currently a Research Supervisor for students completing the MSc in Personalised Nutrition.
